I guess you have to be there.

This post-modern world can get very lonely. In the words of Jack Shepherd from the TV show Lost, “We live together, or we die alone.”

At Church of the Beloved we believe that human life is meant to be shared.  Sharing life is presence–being present, being available for each other, finding our common threads within the story. Community is how we enjoy and embrace presence. If people are present in community, God is  already there. We are keeping our eyes open for glimpses of God while enjoying the community of one another. It’s friendship, it’s family, it’s awkward–but we like it.
