INTERNSHIPS

For such a new church we have had a slew of interns (yes, slew is the collective noun for a group of interns) – six in our first two years!  We give our interns loads of freedom to experiment with their gifts and apply their learning.  Below you will find 3 categories of internships Pastoral, Worship, and Children, each with specializations.  We are currently accepting new interns.  Please contact ryan@belovedschurch.org for an application.

JOSUE BLANCO _ PASTORAL INTERN _ MARS HILL GRADUATE SCHOOL _ ’07 – ’08

“The internship program at Church of the Beloved has truly helped integrate my theological training into a practical ecclesiology. Through being a part of a learning community, I was able to lead, serve, and evaluate how I pastor.  Being an intern at Beloved has helped me discover much about how my hopes and skills will be most beneficial to my future church community.”

    • Hey – we hail from the ELCA lutheran tradition, which helps to ground us in a global community and a theological frame of reference – yet, (interestingly!) there is no majority in our community when it comes to prior denominational background – we are quite mutty, and like it that way.
