Money. There’s just no getting around it.
We believe how we use, save, and spend our money (or lack thereof) is an articulation of worship–bringing greater justice and blessing to the world, and helping us identify with a Father who is infinitely giving, loving, and generous.
As a community we try hard to avoid being coercive, manipulative, or irresponsible in our treatment of money and other valuable assets we are given–physical, social and spiritual. We encourage our community to spread “it” around pretty freely so we can meet the needs of the community and God’s purposes in the world.
It may not be orthodox theology, but we also like the advice of some modern day poets Macklemore and Ryan Lewis: “Make the money, don’t let the money make you.”
If you have some, share some! If you have none, you still have something to share!
