community houses

We never intentionally set-out to create a loose network of intentional community houses… but now that you mention it, it’s become a unique element within Church of the Beloved.

Rosewood Manor – Edmonds  CURRENT OPENING!

The Marsh’s Swamp Ranch – Alderwood

The Fridenmaker House – Meadowdale

Each of these community houses have a different purpose, arrangement, and level of intentionality.  Some are single folks, some married folks, some with children, and some a combination of all.  Some have regular times of prayer and meals and bible study, some provide special services for their neighborhood, some take in guests with need, some explore sustainable living, and some share certain resources in common with one another.  All share life together in a world that is incredibly isolating.

There is an opening at Rosewood right now and we are looking to form a new community house in Edmonds.

Hey Ryan! Great work. DJ and I are considering starting a Christian Community living arrangement in our home: "The Beach House" (aka: "Horner's Corner" in Poulsbo, WA). Thought I'd gain some inspiration from other communities. We would be open to try some sustained living on our acreage if the group were interested...chickens/eggs, garden, goats, local farm shares, etc. Email with inspiration or ideas please!!
  • Community churches build to provide services not only to christian members but also to those who needs some assistance on shelter.
  • It's a good way to spread the christian community.
Having this house that will serve as a catalyst for
christian people to share and develop their spiritual life.
  • Nice to see some community in the community church. I hope the Bible study groups are able to suceed in study of the scriptures.
